Diamond Women's Center, in Edina, MN, is a private practice dedicated to providing high quality womens health care.
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory illness that is impacting us. The impact to our clinic operations is rapidly evolving. We will do our best to keep patients updated here.
We are offering virtual visits with our providers as another way to give you access to care. These visits will give you the necessary connection with your provider and will be billed to your insurance similar to in office visits.
We want to continue to limit the exposure for our patients, physicians and staff. If you have any illness symptoms at all please call to reschedule your appointment. We have opened up appointments for Viability Ultrasounds and 20 week OB Ultrasound to allow 1 adult person to accompany the patient. We do continue to ask that all other visits be limited to the patient only.(Patients can call or facetime another individual while in the appointment if desired). This practice we feel is the best way to limit everyone's exposure and to ensure your ability to practice social distancing while at the clinic. We also ask that you wear a mask or face covering over your mouth and nose when you come for your visit. This will ensure all the contacts in our clinic remain low risk exposures.
We will continue to review the CDC recommendations and our policies regularly. We appreciate your patience and support!
Should I be tested for COVID-19?
Our clinic site is not a Covid testing site with the Minnesota Department of Health. There is an online process being offered through Fairview, to access it log into oncare.org and complete the questions if you believe you should be tested. If you need to be tested oncare.org will determine the testing and connect you with locations in the Twin Cities. You must be triaged through OnCare before testing can be approved.
Other Edina area testing locations can be found here:
