Menopause is the time in a woman’s life when she stops having periods. Menopause affects every woman. Menopause typically occurs between the ages of 45-55. It can cause a myriad of symptoms and each woman can experience menopause in a different way. Symptoms such as irregular menses, hot flashes, night sweats, mood changes, fatigue, sleep disturbances, vaginal dryness, memory changes and weight gain are not uncommon.

Some women have to address their changing menstrual cycles or other symptoms they are experiencing. Different treatments are available for women to help get them through this time. Some of these approaches include diet, exercise, supplements and hormone replacement therapy. We are available to help you through this time of transition. We can discuss your symptoms with you and review treatment options with you. Each person’s experience is unique, and we are here to help you through this process. The physicians at Diamond Women’s Center are experienced in dealing with menopause and take pride in individualizing help for each patient.
